Soybean cultivation as a protein crop is attracting increasing interest from European governments and industry, aiming to reduce import dependency and meet the rising demand for meat alternatives. Our research is centered on developing molecular tools, including efficient transformation and gene editing techniques, using an early-maturing genotype selected as the model for soybean in Flanders.
